Street School (Underprivileged Child Education)

In Gujranwala, many children from underprivileged backgrounds lack access to formal education due to poverty, social barriers, and lack of resources. Our Street School project aims to bridge this gap by bringing education directly to these children, giving them a chance to learn and grow despite their circumstances.

Learning on the Streets for a Brighter Future

At Ibtida, we believe that every child deserves an education, no matter where they live or what their circumstances are. Our Street School program brings education to children who don’t have access to regular schools. We set up classrooms in open spaces, like parks and streets, so children can learn and grow.

Objectives:

The Street School project has already made a significant impact in the lives of many children in Gujranwala. Children who were once out of school are now reading, writing, and gaining the knowledge and skills they need to build a better future. Our project has also fostered a sense of hope and possibility within the communities we serve, showing that education can be a powerful force for change.

Leadership Skills Development: Equip young people with essential leadership skills, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making through workshops and interactive sessions.
Community Engagement:Encourage participants to engage in community service projects, allowing them to apply their leadership skills in real-world settings and make a tangible impact on their communities.
Mentorship: Pair young leaders with experienced mentors who can guide them through their leadership journey, offering advice, support, and opportunities for personal growth.
Civic Responsibility: Instill a sense of civic responsibility and encourage youth to participate in social and community initiatives, promoting positive change and development within their communities.
